Meet Dr. Berta Howard
I love dentistry; it is a profession that is both challenging and extremely rewarding. The ability to provide care for my patients that improves their overall health and well-being is something I do not take lightly. I view my job as an opportunity to change lives, one patient at a time.
Dentistry is very exciting; there is always something to learn, and technology has changed the way we practice. I feel that our patients appreciate our commitment to improving patient care through state-of-the-art technology, while retaining a warm, caring touch.
Education and continuing education
A native of Columbus, I attended Upper Arlington High School before attending Bridgewater College in Virginia for my Bachelor of Arts. I completed my formal dental training and received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University. After graduation, I spent three years in the military before settling down in Butler County in 1979 to open my private practice.
I participate extensively in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest dental treatments, so I can provide the best care for our patients. I have served in many positions with organized dentistry, including:
- Keely Dental Society, past president
- Ohio Dental Association
- American Dental Association
